Yes, you may turn in your
monthly work earlier than the last day of the school month,
but there are a few things that you need to know:
- Anytime in the last week of
the month is usually fine, but you need to coordinate with
your supervising teacher, because if that teacher is
teaching a class or in a meeting earlier in the week, then
it will be difficult to turn it in.
- There are times when
turning in the work a week early makes sense, such as when
a family will be traveling during the last week of the
month. However, the work cannot be turned in so
early that the teacher must question about how so much
work was done so quickly. It is not reasonable for
someone to complete four full weeks of work in 5 or 6
courses in only one and a half weeks or 2
weeks.
- All the work in all
subjects should be turned in or shown to your supervising
teacher at the same time--so no, you can't turn in English
on Monday, Science on Tuesday, Art on Wednesday, Math on
Thursday, etcetera.
- If you do turn in all your
work a little early, bring the math packet to room 3
anytime and just put it in the designated box for the
monthly work, even if I am teaching a class at the time (I
don't need to monitor math work packets being turned
in).
